Biography: Laborers Together for Harvest Church began in 1986 and has grown into a strong church. Their mission statement includes planting disciple-making churches that multiply and grow towards Christ's likeness. They have an organized cell group program using the divide to multiply format. Once a cell group grows to 16 it is divided into two groups of eight each and they both continue to grow.
The church has a large children's ministry and two groups of Senior and Junior Youth who have taken discipleship training which equips them to reach their fellow youth for Christ.
In college, Joseph Mark met brothers from 15 African countries, building long-lasting relationships that allowed him to visit and minister in these countries. The poverty and hunger he saw compelled him, along with other ministers, to begin Africa Church Leadership Development Commission in 2003. ACLDC works to help communities not only be recipients of charity but to be active instigators of progressive change. They provide training with the aim of involving rural community pastors and church leaders in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC Congo and Southern Sudan to actively transform society.
